AF05 is a modern fire starter, designed for adventure and built to last.
Its high-speed steel striker is hardened to over 62 HRC and sharpened to a precise 90° edge, producing a dense shower of sparks with every strike. Rare-earth magnets lock the striker and ferro rod together, keeping the tool quiet, compact, and ready when you need it.
AF05 is fully serviceable: replace the ferro rod after around 5,000 strikes, refresh the striker edge, replace the paracord, or re-print the PETG enclosures.
Available in translucent Purple, Green, and Clear. Globally sourced and assembled by hand in Atlanta, Georgia.
